Cozy 2BR villa in Maroochydore

Skanky Smelling and Spooky! Positive: Location was close to what we required. Negative: No parking in front of the unit or on site. Not once does it tell you anywhere on the ad that you can't park on the premises. It is only when they send you instructions of how to find the key does it actually state that you can't park onsite at all. Contradictory to say the least. Not happy. My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks as he had a major operation. The main bedroom smelt absolutely skanky with a sickly disgusting smell. After talking to the "Caretaker" we found out that 3 years earlier, a male had died in the main bedroom and wasn't found until a week after the fact. We could not sleep in the main bedroom. It was putrid. We shut both doors to the room and did not enter into it again. During the night the tv would turn on by itself. Creepy!!! The beds were uncomfortable. The cleaners that you get charged for, don't actually clean properly. There were kids lego blocks under the lounge, maltesers and rocks under the tv stand. The carpets are filthy. The main door is very hard to open. The sliding screen door to the outdoor area does not close or lock. The main door to the bedroom, the door handle comes completely off. Had our booking until the Sunday but left on the Friday. Would not stay there again.

I would absolutely stay there again. Positive: It was very tidy in a great location. Negative: We couldn’t park our car in the driveway and the caretaker was a bit… forceful when going over the rules.
